• ACTIVITY REPORT OF EUROREGION "DNIESTER" FOR 2014 2 February 2015

  Euroregion "Dniester" is a body of cross-border cooperation and association of local government administrative-territorial units of Ukraine and the Republic of Moldova. It consists of Vinnytsia region represented by Vinnytsia Regional Council and the Vinnytsia Regional State Administration and 7 districts of the Republic of Moldova represented by district councils of Soroca, Ocnita, Donduseni, Floresti, Soldanesti, Rezina and Dubossary.

  Rezina district - one of the most beautiful districts of Moldova - located on the picturesque banks of the Dniester. Here, in the village Tipova cave monastery is located, founded in the VI century B.C. Here Stephen the Great was crowned with his wife Maria Vochita. Saharna village is famous because of its cave monastery of XIII century and the current monastery of the Holy Trinity. In addition, a significant area of agro-industrial potential that can be developed within the Euroregion «Dniester».

  Member of the Euroregion «Dniester» Council Sandor Koles - the only one who is not a representative of the Ukrainian or Moldovan side. Presence of European international expert in the Council allows the Euroregion to keep pace with the times, taking into account new European tendencies and studying the best practices of other organizations. Sandor Koles - one of those people who stood at the origins of the Euroregion «Dniester» and urged all potential participants in extreme utility of such forms of cooperation.
